Logistics Manager
The role of distribution/logistics manager may involve transportation, stock control, warehousing, and ensuring structures are in place to monitor the flow of goods and materials.Responsibilities
- monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods;
- coordinating and controlling the order cycle;
- allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs;
- liaising and negotiating with customers and suppliers;
- developing business by gaining new contracts, analysing logistical problems and producing new solutions;
- other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Education and/or Experience:
A Bachelor or associate degree in business administration with a focus in project management, logistics or transportation and a minimum of 6 - 8 years experience in large, background working within a uniformed service and deployments in a hazardous duty area that has limited infrastructure preferred or; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Send us your resume on
